Cintailah Produk-Produk Indonesia !!!

In the past few weeks or so, if you watch TV a lot,  you will watch  ads from Maspion for their range of products… it is actually quite funny in someway.  The endorser is Titik Puspa and one guy which I assume is the CEO or the owner. In the end of the ad both endorser says ” Cintailah Produk Produk Indonesia”, and not mentioning their brand.

Funny thing is, the guy I am sure that he is not Indonesian, if he is indeed Indonesian, he still have some funny pronunciation. When I see this ad I feel ashame myself, I still yet to love Indonesian product. When I go shopping, I always think that lokal product has lower quality… Always.

I am sure that I am not the only one, when I buy sparepart for example, the local product always become a joke. But that is not without reason.  Many local product are indeed low quality, but there are also many local product have a good quality. And as usual, gossip is almost always bad thing, and that is why we have bad perception about local product.

In Japan, they are now rely on import even for their staples, and this following  video is a good one. Are we worse or better than Japan?  Relying on import product is bad for our ecnomic, so let start using our local product and grow our local business.
